A mixed-use conversion from office space to 7 residential units and 2 commercial units in Artillery Lane, Spitalfields, London.
For this project, no crane access was possible, so all construction details were designed in-house to accommodate manual handling up to 4 storeys height.
The development involved removing the top floor of the existing building and constructing a timber frame two storey extension to provide 2 duplex residential units above. An additional 1 bed new build unit was built to the rear and the remaining office space converted to a further 4 apartments.
This development won an award at the 2015 Evening Standard New Homes Awards.
